How fast will my order be processed?

Please allow 1 - 5 business days for your order to be processed. You will receive an email letting you know your delivery is on it's way along with relevant tracking info (if applicable - please see our SHIPPING section for more details on delivery options).

How much does shipping cost?

DOMESTIC SHIPPING (within Australia) - $10 flat rate via Express Post, includes tracking + signature on delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING via REGISTERED POST - $20 flat rate worldwide via Australia Post Registered Mail, includes tracking + signature on delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING via STANDARD AIR MAIL** - $10 flat rate via Australia Post Standard Air Mail.

Do you accept PayPal?

Currently we can only accept payment via all major Credit cards or Visa Debit card. We are looking at integrating a PayPal checkout in the near future however if it is a must for you, you may still purchase prints via the Etsy site which does accept Paypal.

How long will it take to receive my order?

DOMESTIC (within Australia) - Delivery is 1 -2 days within metropolitan areas in VIC & 2-7 days everywhere else. Please allow BIRD BLACK 1 - 5 days to process your order. Please note that a signature will be required upon delivery, if you are not home to receive your parcel please check with your local post office to see if your item is ready for collection. ID may be required for collection.

INTERNATIONAL - Delivery within 12 - 21 days (although shipping may take longer in some countries, your patience during this time is greatly appreciated), please do not contact us to enquire about your order unless at least 21 business days have passed. It may take BIRD BLACK 1 - 5 days to process your order, you will receive a confirmation email that your order has shipped. Please note that a signature will be required upon delivery for items shipped via REGISTERED POST, if there is no one home to receive your parcel please check with your local post office to see if your item is ready for collection. ID may be required.

Can you track my order?

DOMESTIC (within Australia) - Packages are sent via EXPRESS POST and are fully trackable via the Australia Post website. We will send you a confirmation email that your item has shipped along with all relevant tracking information for you to keep an eye on your order. Please note that a signature will be required upon delivery, if there is no one home to receive your parcel please check with your local post office to see if your item is ready for collection. ID may be required.

INTERNATIONAL via REGISTERED POST - Packages sent via Registered Post are fully trackable via the Australia Post website. We will send you a confirmation email that your item has shipped along with all relevant tracking information for you to track your order. Please note that a signature will be required upon delivery, if there is no one home to receive your parcel please check with your local post office to see if your item is ready for collection. ID may be required.

INTERNATIONAL via STANDARD AIR MAIL - Packages sent via standard Air Mail do not include tracking numbers. Please do not contact us to request that we track your order as once it has been shipped we are unable to do so. If you require tracking information it is strongly advised that you select to have your package sent via Registered Post. BIRD BLACK will assume no responsibility for packages that have been lost in transit if you have chosen this delivery method.

I haven't received my order (INTERNATIONAL)

International orders can take 12 - 21 business days (2 - 4 weeks) to be delivered although it may be a bit longer in some countries. Please do not contact us to enquire about your package unless at least 21 business days have passed. If your item's shipping method includes tracking, please see below:

International orders sent via Registered post are fully trackable via the Australia Post website.  You will be provided with a tracking number for your parcel via a confirmation email once your item has been shipped. Please note that a signature will be required upon delivery, if there is no one home to receive your parcel, please check with your local post office to see if your item is ready for collection. ID may be required.

If your order was shipped via STANDARD Air Mail please check with your local post office to see if your item has been lodged there. Please do not contact us to request that we track your order as once it has been shipped we are unable to do so. My item was shipped via STANDARD AIR MAIL can you refund my order if it was not received?

No refunds are given for items that have been sent via Standard Air Mail. If you require tracking it is STRONGLY advised that you select delivery via Registered Post.

My item was shipped via REGISTERED POST can you refund my order if it was not received?

A refund for your item(s) can be issued as long as no signature for this parcel was collected. Items will be refunded minus shipping costs & duties taxes.

My item was shipped via STANDARD AIR MAIL can you replace my order if it was not received?

No replacements are given for items that have been sent via Standard Air Mail. If you require tracking it is STRONGLY advised that you select delivery via Registered Post.

My item was shipped via REGISTERED POST can you replace my order if it was not received?

A replacement for your item(s) can be issued as long as no signature for this parcel was collected. These items will still incur additional shipping costs & duties taxes (where applicable).

My item was shipped via DOMESTIC (Express) POST can you replace my order if it was not received?

A replacement for your item(s) can be issued as long as no signature for this parcel was collected. These items will still incur additional shipping costs.

Is BIRD BLACK available for custom orders?

At this point in time we are unable to take on any further custom orders. If you would like to enquire about future availability, please contact us via email.

I really like a design, can I use it as my business logo?

If you are interested in a current design and would like to enquire about purchasing a non-exclusive license in order to use it for your business logo / brand logo etc. Please contact us via email to enquire about our rates. 

I really like a design, can I use it for reproduction on T-shirts?

If you are interested in a current design and would like to enquire about purchasing a non-exclusive license in order to use it for products & on-selling, please contact us via email to enquire about our rates. Please note, some designs may not be available for use do to prior exclusive arrangements.

If I buy a print does that mean I can use the image for my logo?

Purchasing a print does not entitle you to use the image for your brand or logo. If you are interested in a current design and would like to enquire about purchasing a non-exclusive license in order to use it for your business logo / brand logo etc. please contact us via email to enquire about our rates.

If I buy a print does that mean I can reproduce the image on t-shirts / products?

Purchasing a print does not entitle you to reproduce the image on any products you plan to sell. If you are interested in a current design and would like to enquire about purchasing a non-exclusive license in order to use it for products and on-selling etc. please contact us via email to enquire about our rates.

Can I get a tattoo of your work if I make sure to give BIRD BLACK design credit on any Social Media outlets I display the tattoo?

Yes, absolutely! Please do email us pictures of your tattoo process & story as we'd love to feature some of these on our blog in the future!
